Your Iguassu Falls golf vacation starts arriving to the Guarani International Airport (AGT) of Ciudad del Este (Paraguay). Arriving to this small, quiet airport will start putting you in the peaceful mind-set of the Paraiso Golf Resort and the Paraguayan countryside.
Paraiso Golf Ranch Resort's transfer services. When making your reservation you can arrange for the hotel transfer service to pick you up at the airport. Have your flight, date and hour of arrival handy when arranging your lodging. The hotel also offers transport to the Iguassu Falls and all the tourist attractions of the area (including shopping in Ciudad del Este). During the short drive to the hotel on a stone paved road heading into the heart of the countryside you'll feel you have entered into a different kind of world. And it is different from anything you have seen... ...a world made of green praries specked of dark forests, soft slopes and easy rivers under a sky of blues and whites. It's hard to describe but this is Paraguay's purest countryside I'm watching through the vehicule's window. Just to think only minutes ago we were siting on an airplane tight seat with the smell of air conditioning is unbelievable!

Right from the start upon your arrival you can notice why the hotel’s name is “Paraiso” which means paradise in Spanish. The hotel is enclosed in 96 hectares (237 acres) of beautifully kept gardens and natural landscapes.
An Iguassu Falls golf vacation in the Paraiso Hotel means you will be lodging in one the 18 cozy bungalows this resort has for its guests. There are 9 one bedroom and 9 two bedroom bungalows to choose from. What a perfect place for a honeymoon! Or a honeymoon revival… in our case!
Lodging in one of these bungalows made us feel we were in the privacy and warmth of our own home. If you are coming here with children I recommend you reserving two separated bungalows, one for you and your mate and the other for the kids.
Something my wife and I appreciated very much was lazily sitting on this swinging-chair with a beautiful view of the lake bordering the bungalows. It’s awesome to be here in a full-moon night, holding hands and whispering sweet little things to your loved one’s ears!
The bungalow area is connected to the rest of the hotel’s facilities with beautiful sidewalks that make you feel you are walking in middle of an old country village.
Special Note for Golfers. The owner and creator of this remarkable Iguassu Falls golf vacation resort is a very interesting Chinese man. Mr. Chang is a practicing Taoist and Buddhist with a deep love for golf. He has the curious habit of playing golf barefooted (he insists this puts you closer in contact with the field and nature) and since this was not allowed in other golfing grounds he decided to build his own golf course. This is just to let you know that barefooted golfing is allowed here if you want to try! 
But if you are not playing golf… just yet, our exploration of this Iguassu Falls golf vacation resort continues walking out of the bungalow area towards one of my favorite sites: the restaurant!
Built with a rustic style that reminds ancient ranch constructions this restaurant has a warm, friendly ambience that invites to feel at ease.
The galleries surrounding the restaurant’s building is a special place to relax watching the beautiful gardens while sipping your favorite drink. Have you tried “Caña Paraguaya on the rocks” a traditional Paraguayan sugarcane distilled drink?
Another popular Paraguayan food we loved is “pastel mandio” or manioc pastry also called “empanadas de mandioca” in Spanish. These are turnovers made with a smashed manioc crust stuffed with chopped meat, onions, parsley, garlic, green pepper and “secret” spices the chef does not want to reveal us. O.K., now that we are supper-charged with energy out of Paraguayan foods its time to move on in our exploration of this Iguassu Falls golf vacation resort.
Maybe the best recreational activity on this Iguassu Falls golf vacation resort is to enjoy walking around the 96 hectare field with subtropical forests; it was a great trekking experience for us.
